Shear line, Amihan to bring rains over parts of Luzon, Visayas
The shear line and the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will bring rains over parts of Luzon and Visayas on Monday, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.
Metro Manila, Mimaropa, Calabarzon, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Western Visayas, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, and Bulacan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly result in flash floods or landslides.
The rest of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region may expect cloudy skies with rains due to the Amihan. Flash floods or landslides may possibly result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.
The rest of the country on the other hand will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may result.
Coastal waters will be rough in the eastern section of Luzon, and moderate in the rest of Luzon.
Meanwhile, in Visayas and Mindanao, coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
