Shear line, Amihan to cause cloudy skies over Luzon
The shear line and the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) may bring cloudy skies over parts of Luzon.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Saturday afternoon, the shear line may cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Bicol Region, CALABARZON, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.
SOCCSKSARGEN, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Palawan may experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).
The Northeast Monsoon may bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, strong winds with rough seas may be felt over Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, while the rest of Luzon will have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
