Shear Line, ITCZ continue to bring cloudy skies over PH
The Shear Line and the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) continue to bring cloudy conditions over parts of the country.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Friday afternoon, the ITCZ will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Negros Island Region, and Palawan.
Quezon, Laguna, Rizal, and Bicol Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by the shear line.
The Northeast Monsoon or amihan will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be felt over the rest of the country due to localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, strong winds with rough coastal waters may be felt over Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central Luzon.
The rest of Luzon will be having moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas, while the rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
