Shear line, amihan, ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH
The shear line and northeast monsoon or amihan will be affecting the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon while the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect Visayas and Mindanao on Friday, PAGASA reported.
Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, and Negros Island Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ wtih the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Quezon, Laguna, and Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the shear line wtih the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon wtih the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon but with no significant impact.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms wtih the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central Luzon is strong and moving northeastward with rough coastal waters.
The rest of Luzon will have moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
