PAGASA: Rains likely in parts of PH due to Amihan, ITCZ
Parts of the country will experience cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon or Amihan and the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), according to PAGASA's weather bulletin on Wednesday.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over Caraga, Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi due to the ITCZ. The public is warned about possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains in these areas.
The ITCZ will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms to the rest of Mindanao.
Due to Amihan, Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region will have cloudy skies with rains.
The same weather condition will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains in the Ilocos Region, PAGASA said. —LDF, GMA Integrated News
