Amihan, easterlies cause cloudy skies, scattered rains over parts of PH
The northeast monsoon or amihan and the easterlies continue to affect parts of the country, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast posted on Friday afternoon.
The northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in several parts of the country as a result of the said weather system.
Meanwhile, the extreme Northern Luzon will experience strong to gale winds with rough to very rough coastal waters.
The rest of Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country will be having light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
