Amihan, easterlies continue to bring rains, cloudy skies over PH


The Northeast Monsoon continues to affect parts of Northern Luzon as the easterlies bring cloudy skies over the eastern section of the country.

According to PAGASA’s 4 p.m. daily weather forecast on Wednesday, the Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with rains over Batanes, while the Shear Line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over the Babuyan Islands.

The rest of Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies, while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be having Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some parts of the country as a result of said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, Northern Luzon may observe moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters.

Light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters may be expected over the rest of the country.
