ITCZ to bring rains over S. Mindanao

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies and rains over parts of Southern Mindanao, according to PAGASA.

According to its daily weather forecast on Saturday afternoon, the ITCZ will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Zamboanga Peninsula, SOCCSKSARGEN, BARMM, Davao Occidental, and Palawan.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may be expected over Cagayan Valley and Aurora due to the easterlies, while localized thunderstorms will be bringing partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Meanwhile, a low pressure Area (LPA) outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) is being monitored by PAGASA. The LPA is located 1,590 kilometers east of Southeastern Luzon.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:48 a.m. on Sunday.
