Shear line to bring rains over Extreme Northern Luzon

A shear line affecting Extreme Northern Luzon will bring rains over the area on Monday, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.

Batanes will also have cloudy skies aside from scattered rains and thunderstorms. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly result in flash floods or landslides.

Meanwhile, the easterlies are affecting the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas.

Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies, with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Eastern Visayas may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms also due to the easterlies. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may result.

The rest of the country on the other hand will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
