Shear line, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of N. Luzon
The shear line and easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Northern Luzon on Saturday, PAGASA reported.
Batanes and Cagayan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the shear line with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Bicol Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur.
The wind speed forecast for extreme Northern Luzon is light to moderate moving northeastward and coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
Visayas and the rest of Luzon will have light to moderate winds moving in the northeast to east direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Mindanao will have light to moderate winds moving in the southeast to northeast direction and coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
