3 weather systems to bring cloudy skies, rains across PH

Three weather systems will bring cloudy skies and rains across the Philippines, the state weather bureau PAGASA said on Tuesday afternoon.

A low pressure area 350 kilometers west of Abucay, Bataan, the Northeasterly Surface Windflow, and localized thunderstorms will affect the country in the next 24 hours.

PAGASA is also monitoring the tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. At 3 p.m. the tropical depression, carrying maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h and gustiness of up to 70 km/h, was located 2,605 km east of extreme Northern Luzon.

It remains unlikely for the tropical cyclone to enter PAR, PAGASA said.

The LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over La Union, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Zambales, and Bataan, while Batanes and Babuyan Islands will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeasterly Surface Windflow.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of localized thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters are expected nationwide.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:46 a.m. on Wednesday. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
