Easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over Bicol Region and Quezon

The Bicol Region and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms on Tuesday due to the easterlies, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.

Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly result in flash floods or landslides.

The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Aurora may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.

PAGASA is also monitoring a low pressure area which was estimated to be located at 3 a.m. at 305 km West of Coron, Palawan.

It is also monitoring a tropical depression located at 3 a.m. at 2,650 km east northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon. It has maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 70 km/h. The tropical depression is moving northward at 15 km/h.
