ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, rain over Palawan, Visayas, Mindanao

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with rain showers over Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao on Thursday, PAGASA reported.

Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind soeed forecast for Luzon and Visayas is light to moderate moving in a variable direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

For Mindanao, the wind speed forecast is light to moderate moving in the south to southwest direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
