ITCZ to cause rains over Visayas, Mindanao, Palawan

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will cause rain showers over parts of Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Wednesday afternoon.

Eastern and Central Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ICTZ, while Bicol Region and Quezon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.

The rest of the country will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods and landslides may occur as a result of these weather conditions.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters will be observed throughout the Philippine archipelago.
