Easterlies to bring rain over eastern PH

The easterlies will bring rain showers over eastern sections of Southern Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao within the next 24 hours, PAGASA said Monday afternoon in its weather forecast.

The Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Davao Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.

These severe thunderstorms may cause flash floods or landslides.

The state weather bureau also said wind and coastal water conditions in Southern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and the rest of Luzon will be light to moderate.
