Easterlies to bring rain showers over Bicol, eastern Visayas and Mindanao
The easterlies are affecting the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao on Monday and will bring rain showers, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.
The Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may possibly result.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may possibly occur during severe thunderstorms.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the northern and western sections of Northern Luzon.
Meanwhile, coastal waters in the rest of the country will be light to moderate.
