Habagat to bring cloudy skies, scattered rain over Luzon, Visayas

The southwest monsoon or Habagat will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over parts of Luzon and Visayas on Thursday, PAGASA reported.

Zambales and Bataan will have monsoon rains due to the southwest monsoon with the possibility that flashfloods or landslides will occur due to heavy to intense rains.

Pangasinan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Occidental Mindoro, and Northern Palawan will have occasional rains due to the southwest monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to heavy rains.

Metro Manila, Abra, Benguet, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, Rizal, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, Antique, Iloilo, and the rest of Palawan and Ilocos Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The rest of Luzon and Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest m.onsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms

Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for the western section of Luzon is strong moving in the southwest to south  direction with rough coastal waters.

Visayas and the rest of Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the south to southwest direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Mindanao will experience moderate wind speed moving in the southeast to south direction while coastal waters will be moderate.
