Habagat will bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over Luzon


The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Luzon on Saturday, PAGASA reported.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon. There is a possibility that flooding or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon with the possibility of flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The western and northern sections of Luzon will have moderate to strong winds moving in the southwest to south direction, and moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon will have moderate to strong winds moving southward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The Visayas and Mindanao regions will have light to moderate winds moving in the southeast to south direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
