PAGASA monitoring LPA near Eastern Samar


PAGASA continues to monitor a Low Pressure Area (LPA) located at 555 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar on Saturday. 

PAGASA continues to monitor a Low Pressure Area (LPA) located at 555 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samaras it is expected to bring scattered rains in parts of the country.

According to its daily weather forecast at 4 p.m., the LPA will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, and Northern Mindanao.

Meanwhile, the Southwest Monsoon brings cloudy skies over parts of the Philippines.

Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will also be observed in Palawan, the rest of Visayas, and the rest of Mindanao due to the Southwest Monsoon, while the rest of Luzon will be having partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms because of localized thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur as a result of said weather conditions.

Light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters will be experienced all over the Philippines.
