Habagat brings rains over Luzon, Visayas

The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat continues to bring rains over several parts of Luzon and Visayas.

According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Wednesday afternoon, Metro Manila, MIMAROPA, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Laguna, and Batangas will experience monsoon rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon.

The same weather condition will cause occasional rains over Tarlac, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, and Bulacan, and bring cloudy skies with scattered rains or thunderstorms over the Visayas, Bicol Region, the rest of Central Luzon, the rest of CALABARZON, and Pangasinan.

The state weather bureau said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may be experienced over the rest of the country due to localized thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas due to said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters may be felt in some parts of the Philippines.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:44 a.m. on Thursday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/RF, GMA Integrated News
