PAGASA issues red rainfall warning over Bataan due to Habagat

An orange rainfall warning was raised over Bataan on Tuesday evening due to the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat, PAGASA said. 

In its heavy rainfall warning issued at 11 p.m., PAGASA warned residents of Bataan of possible serious flooding especially in flood-prone areas.

Yellow warning level is raised over the following areas:

  • Metro Manila, Zambales(San Marcelino, San Antonio, Castillejos, Subic, Olongapo)
  • Rizal(Antipolo, Rodriguez, San Mateo, Angono, Cainta, Taytay, Teresa)

Meanwhile, expect light to moderate rains over Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Laguna and Batangas within the next 3 hours.

Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains affecting the following areas:

  • Zambales(Botolan, Cabangan, Candelaria, Iba, Masinloc, Palauig, Santa Cruz, San Felipe, San Narciso)
  • Bulacan(Angat, Balagtas, Baliuag, Bocaue, Bulakan, Bustos, Calumpit, Malolos, Meycauayan, San Jose del Monte, Guiguinto, Hagonoy, Marilao, Norzagaray, Obando, Pandi, Paombong, Plaridel, Pulilan, Santa Maria)
  • Pampanga(Floridablanca, Lubao, Sasmuan, Apalit, Bacolor, San Fernando, Macabebe, Masantol, Minalin, San Simon, Santo Tomas, Guagua, Porac, Santa Rita)
  • Cavite(General Trias, Bacoor, Cavite City, Imus, Kawit, Naic, Noveleta, Rosario, Tanza, Ternate, Maragondon, Trece Martires, Dasmarinas)
  • Quezon(General Nakar)
  • Rizal(Tanay, Pililla, Jala-Jala, Binangonan, Cardona, Morong, Baras) which may persist within 3 hours and may affect nearby areas.
