Thunderstorm advisory up over Metro Manila, 6 Luzon provinces

Metro Manila and six provinces in Luzon are expected to experience moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds Tuesday noon.

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 11:15 a.m., state weather bureau PAGASA said the other affected areas within the next two hours are:

• Cavite,
• Batangas,
• Laguna,
• Rizal,
• Bulacan,
• Pampanga, and
• Tarlac.

Meanwhile, Mariveles, Bagac, and Morong in Bataan; Santa Cruz, Botolan, San Antonio, Subic, and Olongapo in Zambales; and Gumaca and Macalelon in Quezon are currently experiencing moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds.

It may persist within two hours and may affect nearby areas.

Affected residents are advised to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
