Habagat to cause cloudy skies, rains over parts of Northern Luzon

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) was predicted to bring cloudy skies and rains over Extreme Northern Luzon.

According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Saturday afternoon, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may be expected over Batanes and the Babuyan Islands due to Habagat.

Localized thunderstorms will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

These weather conditions may lead to flash floods or landslides.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters may be experienced across the Philippines.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:43 a.m. on Sunday.  — Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
