Habagat to bring cloudy skies over Extreme Northern Luzon

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) is affecting Extreme Northern Luzon, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Thursday afternoon.

The monsoon may cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Batanes and the Babuyan Islands, while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

There may be flash floods or landslides in some areas due to these weather conditions.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters are forecast all over the Philippines.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:42 a.m. on Friday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
