Habagat to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH

The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will bring cloudy skies with rain showers over Luzon and the western sections of Visayas and Mindanao on Saturday, PAGASA reported.

The Ilocos Region, Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, SOCCSKSARGEN, and BARMM will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with flash floods or landslides probably occurring during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is moderate moving southwestward with moderate coastal waters.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southeast to southwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
