Habagat to bring rains in parts of Visayas, Mindanao

The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will continue to bring rains over the western section of Visayas and Mindanao.

According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Saturday afternoon, cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected over Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, and Palawan.

Localized thunderstorms may cause the rest of the country to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods and landslides may occur in parts of the country as a result of said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters may be felt over the Philippines.
