Habagat to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of Visayas, Mindanao

The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers over the western sections of Visayas and Mindanao on Saturday, PAGASA reported.

Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for the whole country is light to moderate moving in the southwest to west while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
