Habagat to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of Visayas, Mindanao
The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to bring cloudy skies over parts of Visayas and Mindanao, according to PAGASA’s daily weather report on Friday afternoon.
Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and Palawan will see cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by Habagat, while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country because of localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods and landslides may occur due to these weather conditions.
Meanwhile, the whole country will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:40 a.m. on Saturday. — Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
