Two low-pressure areas were observed within the Philippine Area of  Responsibility, according to PAGASA’s Friday afternoon weather report.

At 3 p.m., one LPA was 365  kilometers west of Tanauan City, Batangas, while the other was 865 kilometers east of the Eastern Visayas.

Meanwhile, the  Southwest Monsoon would bring cloudy conditions with scattered rain and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON,  MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula,  BARMM, Sultan Kudarat, South Cotabato, and Sarangani; and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain-showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the Visayas and Mindanao.

The rest of Luzon could expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain-showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides may occur due to the said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, the western section of Luzon would experience moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters.

Light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters could also be expected over the rest of the country.
