Heavy rains expected over Metro Manila, 6 Luzon provinces

Metro Manila and six provinces in Luzon are expected to experience moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds Tuesday evening.

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 4:19 p.m., state weather bureau PAGASA said the other affected areas in the next two to three hours are:

• Zambales,
• Tarlac,
• Pampanga,
• Nueva Ecija,
• Bulacan, and
• Rizal.

The said weather condition is being experienced in Calamba, Cabuyao, and Cavinti in Laguna; Tagaytay, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Silang, Amadeo, Indang, Mendez in Cavite; Tanauan, Talisay, Balete, and Laurel in Batangas; and Tayabas, Lucban in Quezon.

It may persist within two hours and may affect nearby areas.

Affected residents are advised to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
