LPA to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over E. Visayas, CARAGA, Davao

A Low Pressure Area (LPA) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.

The weather bureau added that flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The LPA, as of 3 a.m, was estimated at 310 kilometers east northeast of Davao City.

Meanwhile, the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will affect the western sections of Southern Luzon and Mindanao.

Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, SOCCSKSARGEN, Cavite, Batangas, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.

The western sections of Luzon and Visayas will experience moderate to strong winds moving in the southwest to southeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Mindanao resident will experience light to moderate winds moving in the northeast to northwest direction. Coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
