Southwest Monsoon to bring clouds, rain showers over parts of PH
The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect the western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao and will bring clouds and rain showers over several areas, PAGASA said.
Mindanao, Western Visayas, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the Habagat. Moderate to heavy rains may possibly lead to flash floods or landslides.
Metro Manila, the rest of MIMAROPA, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, and Bataan may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the monsoon. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may possibly occur.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may possibly result during severe thunderstorms.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
Sunrise was at 5:35 a.m. while sunset will be at 6:29 p.m.
Meanwhile, data from MetraWeather showed a low pressure area (LPA) may possibly form east of Mindanao, according to a report by Anjo Pertierra on Unang Balita on Monday.
The LPA may possibly bring rains tomorrow over Caraga, Davao Region and Northern Mindanao, according to PAGASA. —KG, GMA Integrated News
