ITCZ, easterlies continue to bring rains across PH

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and the easterlies continue to bring rainy skies throughout the country.

According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Tuesday afternoon, the ITCZ may cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Negros Oriental, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of Visayas and Mindanao.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may also be expected over Bicol Region, Quezon, Aurora, Isabela, and Cagayan caused by the easterlies.

The rest of the country may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides may occur because of these weather conditions.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters may be observed across the country.
