In its 24-hour weather forecast, the state weather bureau said Palawan, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi may expect cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may be experienced in Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region, Quezon, Aurora, Isabela, and Cagayan due to the easterlies.

Localized thunderstorms may bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA said.

Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms may occur in affected areas, PAGASA warned.
