Parts of PH to experience cloudy skies, thunderstorms

The Intertropical Convergence Zone and easterlies will bring cloudy skies and thunderstorms across the country, according to PAGASA's weather forecast on Saturday afternoon.

Mimaropa, Western Visayas, and the Zamboanga Peninsula may experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the ITCZ.

The easterlies may cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.

Flash floods or landslides may occur due to these weather conditions.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters may be observed all over the country.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:32 a.m. on Sunday.  —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
