ITCZ to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over S. Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers over Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Friday, PAGASA reported.

Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Visayas, and Zamboanga Peninsula will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with the possibility of flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Aurora and Quirino will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.

Cagayan Valley and the rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.

The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.

the wind speed forecast for Luzon is light to moderate moving in the east to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the south to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
