ITCZ, easterlies to bring rains in parts of PH – PAGASA

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and easterlies will continue to bring rainy skies over parts of the Philippines.

According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Thursday afternoon, the ITCZ will cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over BARMM, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Northern Mindanao, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Palawan and the rest of Mindanao.

The easterlies will also bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Eastern Samar, and Southern Leyte, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in Cagayan Valley, the rest of Bicol Region, and the rest of Eastern Visayas.

The rest of the country will be having partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas due to said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters may be felt in some parts of the Philippines.
