ITCZ, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers over Palawan and Western Mindanao while the easterlies will be affecting the eastern sections of the country, PAGASA reported.

Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with the possibility flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms with easterlies with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.

The whole country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
