PAGASA: 2 to 3 tropical cyclones likely to hit PH in July

Around two to three tropical cyclones are expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility in July, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

Weather Specialist Glaiza Escullar told Super Radyo dzBB that the same number of tropical cyclones are expected in August,  September, and October.

Escullar also said that one to two tropical cyclones would affect the country from November to December.

PAGASA had said a weak La Niña was expected sometime between September and November, instead of August to October, due to uncertain ocean conditions.
