Easterlies to bring scattered rain showers over Davao Region

The easterlies or the winds from the Pacific Ocean continue to affect the eastern part of the country on Sunday and will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Davao Region, PAGASA said.

Metro Manila, Central Luzon (except Aurora) and Calabarzon may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms

The rest of the country will have isolated rain showers especially in the afternoon or evening, DOST-PAGASA weather specialist Grace Castañeda said in a weather update.

Flash floods or landslides may result due to rains.

PAGASA said no weather disturbance has been spotted.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
