Easterlies to bring cloudy skies, thunderstorms over parts of PH

The easterlies may bring cloudy skies and thunderstorms over the eastern part of the Philippines, PAGASA said in its daily weather forecast on Friday afternoon.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may be expected over Aurora, Quezon, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region due to the easterlies, while the rest of the country may experience the same weather caused by localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods and landslides may occur because of these weather conditions.

Meanwhile, the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
