Rain showers over Mindanao due to LPA, ITCZ - PAGASA

Rain showers over Mindanao due to LPA, ITCZ - PAGASA

Both the low pressure area and the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring rains over Mindanao, while the easterlies will affect the rest of the country.

According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Wednesday afternoon, the LPA was last observed 235 kilometers east of General Santos City at 3 p.m.

The LPA and ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Mindanao.

The easterlies will also cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Quirino, Aurora, and Quezon, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Flash floods and landslides may occur due to these weather conditions.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters will be felt across the Philippines.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:29 p.m. on Thursday. — Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
