The Southwest Monsoon continues to affect the Philippines by bringing cloudy skies and rains over several parts of the country.

According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Friday afternoon, the Southwest Monsoon may cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Quezon, MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, BARMM, Zamboanga Peninsula, SOCCSKSARGEN, and Northern Mindanao, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila, the rest of CALABARZON, Zambales, and Bataan.

The rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods and landslides may occur in some areas due to said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, the whole country will be seeing light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
