Rain showers, thunderstorms expected over parts of PH

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and localized thunderstorms will affect the country, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Tuesday afternoon.

The Southwest Monsoon may bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Palawan, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, BARMM, and Soccsksargen, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Western Visayas, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, and the rest of Mimaropa.

The rest of the country is predicted to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides may occur due to these weather conditions.

Meanwhile, the Philippines may experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:28 a.m. on Wednesday. — Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
