Thunderstorm warning up over Metro Manila, 10 provinces Wednesday

Metro Manila and 10 nearby provinces will experience moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds within the next two to three hours, state weather bureau PAGASA said Wednesday.

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 11:50 a.m., PAGASA said the following areas will also be affected:

• Zambales,
• Pampanga,
• Tarlac,
• Laguna,
• Batangas,
• Cavite,
• Bataan,
• Bulacan,
• Rizal, and
• Nueva Ecija.

It also said Mulanay in Quezon province is now experiencing heavy rains which may persist within two hours and may affect nearby areas.

Affected residents were advised to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
