LPA spotted in Bohol waters dissipates

The low pressure area spotted in the waters of Bohol dissipated on Tuesday morning, according to the state weather bureau.

“Kaninang alas-diyes ng umaga, tuluyan nang natunaw itong binabantayan nating low pressure,” Chris Perez, PAGASA assistant weather services chief, told “Balitanghali.”

(As of 10 a.m., the low pressure area that we are monitoring has dissipated.)

“Subalit may mga maninipis pa ring konting kaulapan na posible pa ring makaapekto sa ilang lugar dito sa Visayas ngayong araw,” he added.

(But there are a few thin layers of rain clouds that may still affect some areas in the Visayas today.)

Before it dissipated, the LPA was last seen in the coastal waters of Garcia Hernandez, Bohol.

Localized thunderstorms may also occur in various parts of the country on Tuesday, PAGASA said in its 4 a.m. weather forecast.  —Mariel Celine Serquiña/VBL, GMA Integrated News
