Shear line affects parts of northern Luzon

The shear line and the easterlies may bring cloudy skies and rain showers across the country.

According to PAGASA’s weather forecast released on Wednesday afternoon, Batanes, Cagayan, and Apayao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line.

For the rest of the country, there will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the easterlies.

Flash floods or landslides may occur as a result of these weather conditions.

Meanwhile, extreme northern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas.
