PAGASA: Hot weather, isolated rain expected across the PH
With a high-pressure area (HPA) ridge extending over the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon, PAGASA said in a Sunday afternoon forecast that the entire country would experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
The weather service warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, winds over Luzon would be light to moderate from the east to southeast. Coastal waters would be light to moderate.
The rest of the country would experience light to moderate winds from the east to northeast, with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Temperatures in Metro Manila dropped to a low 22.4 °C at 6:10 a.m., then rose to a high of 34.1 °C at 3:05 p.m.
