Cloudy skies, rain showers expected in parts of PH

The easterlies continue to affect most parts of the country, according to PAGASA's 24-hour weather forecast issued on Friday afternoon.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may be expected in Aurora and Northern Quezon due to the easterlies, while the weather system as well as localized thunderstorms may bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Meanwhile, the eastern section of the country may experience moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country is forecast to have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
