Amihan, easterlies bring gray skies, scattered rains on parts of PH - PAGASA
The Northeast Monsoon is affecting parts of Extreme Northern Luzon, while the rest of the country continues to feel the effects of the easterlies.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Sunday afternoon, the Northeast Monsoon will be causing cloudy skies with light rains over Apayao, Cagayan, and Isabela, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the combined effects of the easterlies as well as localized thunderstorms.
Possible flash floods and landslides may occur as a result of said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, the northern and eastern sections of the country will be having moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country is forecast to have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:12 a.m. on Monday.— Jiselle Anne Casucian/RF, GMA Integrated News
